Honored with two Telly Awards, a MarCom Platinum Award, a Gold Quill Award, a Platinum Pixie Award, an ihaf Award, an Anvil Award, three Raytheon Global Communications Awards, and a Raytheon Innovation Award.
Richard, you have been essential to our success and having the visualization of real telemetry from JWST and its deployments. Everyone at NASA and at the Mission Operations Center for JWST has been able to share the excitement because of the contributions you have made. Everyone was able to see your work on display on NASA’s flagship mission. Thank you for everything you have done for us! - Raytheon Systems Engineer
Near the end of February, we submitted a proposal to DARPA totaling just under $19M. We were delighted to learn that we were awarded the contract. Richard Reed did some stunning 3D illustrations for the proposal, and both the technical director and I feel that they made a big impact on the DARPA program manager. Also, thanks to the amazing job Richard did with the UI designs, we were selected over our competition for the next phase, a $12.5M win! Your video provided a complete and compelling story to our product approach! - Raytheon Program Manager
I just wanted to say thanks for all your help over the years. Your work is top notch and your sense of urgency is unmatched. Our team gets a lot of utility from your work, and we’re getting a lot of attention from our customer. - Raytheon Program Manager
The animation you created worked perfectly. It was very beneficial in helping to convey our product build flow strategy to the design and manufacturing teams. Our Integrated Product Team Lead was so impressed that he intends to display it during the monthly Program Management Review with NAVAIR next week! - Raytheon Infrastructure Integration Lead
I would like to thank you for the very professional conceptual illustrations you created for our program. They accurately conveyed Raytheon’s vision for our systems demo. Due to schedule constraints, I was unable to provide continual input and review of your progress. You took the initiative to research the products from the vendor’s websites, past reviews from our e-room, and collaborated with the mechanical engineers. I now understand why one of my team members stated that we have won every proposal that we had you help us with. - Raytheon Engineering Fellow
Thank you, “Surrogate Mechanical Engineering Center of Excellence”… I just saw what you produced for our DARPA program in a single day from scraps of paper as input. It is amazing! I am going to present it to our customers this morning. This will greatly help to communicate our plan and it will be the first time that they will see and understand what we are thinking. It not only looks great, but you actually improved the design. I hope to continue working with you on future efforts. - Raytheon Engineering Fellow
I'm a big fan of this interactive tool and I think you've put together a good package for the review! I think what you've done is certainly worthy of a disclosure award and I'm more than willing to recommend a higher level of award, if you can make the case that this invention describes an IP domain that we can capture for the Company and build on to secure a revenue stream of royalties and/or new products. - Raytheon Engineering Fellow
I want to recognize you for supporting the LA Kings/Raytheon Blackout Night with a coveted International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Gold Quill Award of Merit. The award (in the social media program category) was lauded by the judges for its cost-effectiveness, integration between social and other media and its use of the Black Marble imagery. - Raytheon Communications
Honored with a Global Communications award, Raytheon Business Development leadership, Communications teams, and Advanced Media came together to weave a complete, integrated story — in video form — about the Raytheon systems and technologies carried on the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 Super Hornet and baseline Hornets. Prior to this effort, each Raytheon Hornet program was promoted individually instead of using Raytheon’s overall brand recognition to its best effect. The goal was to provide an engaging experience while ensuring a clear understanding of the range of Raytheon technologies carried on the Super Hornet — specifically, how they work together to support the missions flown by Hornet pilots every day. The video debuted at a Washington, D.C., media briefing; copies were then sent to key customers and run in a prominent location at the Farnborough Air Show booth. The feedback was highly positive: “It really helps tie together how all these systems integrate to provide the F/A-18 the kind of capability it has,” said one attendee. The final, most telling comment: “Send more copies.” - Raytheon Business Development
